Our projects, explorations and events benefit 3 types of stakeholders
-
The local community
- Brain gain - we introduce the periphery and rural areas to young people, travelers and digital nomads
- Helping local tourism businesses who struggle with digitalization and online presence
-
Students
- Collaborative experience-based learning
- Hands-on assignments
- Mentorship support
-
Travelers
- Meeting with other like-minded travelers
- Immersive local encounters
- Authentic experiences
Our projects, explorations and events are designed in the following way:
- Choosing a peripheral location that needs our help
- With our field research and talking to destination stakeholders, we identify the main challenges that the community and the local businesses are facing
- We identify what kind of solutions they need and what would benefit them the most
- We partner with the local university and invite students and mentors from different fields to provide them with a hands-on, activity-based activities, where they initiate in experience-based learning for a certain period of time
- We invite responsible travelers to the location (for a long-term stay or a shorter retreat) where they can enjoy the periphery and at the same time give back to the visiting community through carefully chosen activities together with the local people
